The story begins in 1986 in Bologna^It was winter and, after having completed her fashion studies at Bologna University, Angela Maffei, waiting for her first-born Regina, passionated about knitting, as her mother and grandmother did before her. She enjoyed creating little wool and cachemire beanies and smart scarves for her future baby girl and soon these lovely handcrafts drive Angela's friends crazy to the point that they started to ask custom garments and accessorizes for themselves and their children too. Rumors spread and soon everyone wanted an handmade-to-measure beanie so she decided to try turn her hobby in a real job giving her new Brand the name of her daughter, Regina!Thanks to her husband help, and his business experience, Angela started then to put few of her hats, beanies and scarves in some of the most beautiful boutiques of her city; later, thanks to the success of the experiment, other stores in Italy knew about her original creations and they began to contact her to place some order.Today Regina is 30 and she also works with her mother for their fashion house that now produces almost 80.000 winter items every year and sells worldwide in most prestigious boutiques and concept stores not only beanies but also articles like ponchos, gloves, scarves^Since 2001 the Brand participates to winter edition of Pitti Immagine Bimbo, in Florence, and the Company is continuously growing with even more items and different collections.Even now Regina keeps on creating and producing each of its hand-craft in Italy, and it has never reduced the quality of yarns and materials used to create items; the brand has important commercial partners in Europe and Asia and it is a virtuous example of Italian excellence and guaranteed Made in Italy.Find more about our brands and values on our website www.cuffieregina.eu
